Hulu’s ‘Four Weddings and a Funeral’ Finds Four Leads

The Mindy Kaling and Matt Warburton penned series is expected to debut in 2019.

It’s time to crash some weddings!

2 Dope Queens‘ Jessica Williams will star as Jess, a campaign coordinator who ventures to London after she receives a wedding invitation from a former college roommate. Complications of love and friendship abound. Williams is probably most known for her sting on The Daily Show from 2012-2016, but she has been venturing into feature films more recently with the upcoming Fantastic Beasts: Crimes of Grindelwald.

In addition to Williams, Four Weddings has also cast Nikesh Patel, Rebecca Rittenhouse, and John Reynolds, respectively. Their characters have not been fully reported on at this time.

Four Weddings and a Funeral was a feature film in 1994 that launched the career of Hugh Grant. It was nominated for 2 Academy Awards, including Best Picture.
