Final No Guts, No Glory for Oscars 2019

You’ve been with us through the boring years, through the predictable years, through good times and bad. You’ve been here for haikus and diaries, rants and long winded columns. Here we are again, at the end of the end of Oscars 2019. What a year, right? Was it like having the stomach flu or was it a thrill a minute?

Either way, here is your chance to predict the upsets that might happen. Of course, the way it’s going most of us are predicting upsets to begin with. The one thing this year has done is break up the way we predict the Oscars. It’s toppled our house of cards and we’re all flying blind.

Them rules: you get three picks. They have to be actual long shots, not like “Olivia Colman winning Best Actress” or “Richard E. Grant winning in supporting.”

1. Blackkklansman wins Picture and Director
2. Bohemian Rhapsody wins Picture, Actor, both Sound Categories, Editing
3. First Man wins both sound categories, Visual Effects
