On this week’s podcast, we’re starting our 2-part dive into the summer movie season. What are we most looking forward to? What are we dreading? And what, if any, summer movies have legitimate Oscar buzz? We kick things off this week with April through June. Next week’s podcast wraps it up with July and August. Feel free to comment below on what you’re most looking forward to in the summer of 2019.
But first, HBO unveiled the first of six final episodes for Game of Thrones. We talk about the episode, welcome Megan (temporarily?) back to the throne, and offer predictions on what to expect from the final five episodes.
On April 29 long-time podcast listener Kevin Dillon contributes his Our Favorite Movies entry in Michael Gondry’s 2004 masterpiece Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Be sure to catch up before we kick off the conversation.
We close our podcast, as always, with the Flash Forward to the media we’re most anticipating in the upcoming week.
