It’s Emmy Predictions Time: Starting with Limited Series/TV Movie

We’re kicking off our final round of Emmy predictions. This week, we start with the Limited Series / TV Movie race, largely between Chernobyl and When They See Us.

This week and for the next several weeks, we’re turning our focus to the 71st Annual Primetime Emmy Awards. That’s right, it’s September, which means it’s Emmy month! Today, we’re looking at the Limited Series races which are largely becoming a 2-horse race between HBO’s Chernobyl and Netflix’s When They See Us. We hit the major Limited Series categories and discuss our thoughts in each race. Plus, we give mostly final Limited Series predictions.

But first, we take a look at the weekend’s two major film festivals. Did the Venice Film Festival or Telluride Film Festival give us any Oscar front-runners? What major films premiered and how were they received?
