‘Dune,’ ‘Nightmare Alley,’ ‘West Side Story’ Win at 2022 MPSE Golden Reel Awards

The Motion Picture Sound Editors (MPSE) closed out a very busy awards day with the 69th Golden Reel Awards. The three top Golden Reel awards went to “Dune” (Feature Effects / Foley), “Nightmare Alley” (Feature Dialogue / ADR), and “West Side Story” (Feature Music).

“Dune” and “West Side Story” will move on to compete at the Cinema Audio Society (CAS) Awards on March 19th next weekend. Both films will also vie for the Best Sound Oscar at the 94th Academy Awards.
