2023 Oscar Predictions: Oscar Squad Makes Final Predictions

We’ve made it to the very end. After a weekend of final guild awards (WGA, ASC, ACE), the Oscar Squad makes their final (sort of) 2023 Oscar predictions. I’ll let you pour through our results, but a few things surprised me as I tallied the results. One, Brendan Fraser’s win at SAG failed to convince many Squad members of his potential to win the Oscar. Only two selected The Whale star over Elvis’s Austin Butler. Weirdly, as Elvis’s Mandy Walker became the first woman to win the ASC award, most everyone remains convinced that All Quiet on the Western Front will prevail there.
