Tom Stuart’s Good Boy could find its way onto the Academy’s Live Action Short shortlist for its memorable performances and lighthearted tone. Starring Ben Whishaw and Marion Bailey, Stuart’s film centers on Whishaw’s Danny, a young man attempting to rob a bank with his mother. He soon realizes, though, that his past might come round for a visit, and nothing is what it seems.
In a conversation moderated by Zorianna Kit, Stuart talks about his film with Bailey and producer Max Marlow.
