The Box

I have a lot of respect for Richard Kelly and owe him for many trippy hours spent re-watching his Donnie Darko. I was ready to fall for Southland Tales, but in the end couldn’t justify much love. The Box looks like it might be the resurrection of a more restrained Richard Kelly. Glad to see he hasn’t lost his touch for the twilight zone themes and looking forward to something creepier, twistier and thinkier than Sam Raimi‘s similar return to his roots this year.
