La La land and Hidden Figures have been neck and neck but Hidden Figures just edged ahead and now sits as the highest grossing Best Picture nominee, though both films are killing it at the box office. La La Land might retake the number one spot after it sweeps the Oscars at the end of the month, as it’s expected to do. And surely La La Land’s international take is much higher but this is still worth noting.
