HBO Invites You to Check Into ‘Room 104’

HBO debuts the trailer for Room 104, its raucous new anthology series from the Duplass Brothers.

Hotels have always been the setting for some questionable behavior, and Jay and Mark Duplass want to bring it to you every week in Room 104. Will this anthology series be the Next Big Thing when it debuts late this summer?

HBO unveiled the crazy teaser for the Duplass Brothers new anthology series, Room 104. Each 30-minute episode will presumably focus on a new guest every week. This frantic trailer shows Santa with no pants, Mormons, and James Van Der Beek humping the air. Togetherness this is not. In addition to Van Der Beek, we see Mae Whitman, Phillip Baker Hall, and Melonie Diaz.

Set in a single room of an average American motel, Room 104 is a half-hour anthology series which tells a different story of the assorted characters who pass through it in each episode.  The ensemble cast of this anthology series includes: Hugo Armstrong, Davie-Blue, Melonie Diaz, Jay Duplass, Veronica Falcon, Adam Foster, Ellen Geer, Keir Gilchrist, Philip Baker Hall, Sarah Hay, Poorna Jagannathan, Orlando Jones, Ethan & Gavin Kent, Amy Landecker, Konstantin Lavysh, Sameerah Luqmaan-Harris, Keta Meggett, Natalie Morgan, Ross Partridge, Karan Soni, Dendrie Taylor, Tony Todd, Will Tranfo, James Van Der Beek, Mae Whitman and Nat Wolff.
