“People Who Haven’t Seen the Movie Detroit, Need to Go See It,” John Kasich Says

John Kasich appeared on Morning Joe to talk about Trump and the sorry state of the Republican Party. Kasich says he went to see Detroit with his daughter and wanted to walk out half-way through but his daughter said “I’m not leaving Daddy, and you’re not either.” Detroit is a film that has the power to turn people’s minds around, though it’s a story the black community already knows all too well. There is a large segment of the country that doesn’t know and needs to know. Kasich makes that point really well, I thought.
