HBO Releases ‘Watchmen,’ ‘Catherine,’ ‘BLL’ Trailers

As Game of Thrones wraps its record-breaking run, HBO is gearing up for its Next Big Thing. Will it be Watchmen from Damon Lindelof? Little is known about the plot or how closely it will adhere to the classic graphic novel. What we do have are a new teaser trailer and a great cast, which includes Oscar and Emmy-winner Regina King, Don Johnson, Tim Blake Nelson, and Jeremy Irons among others.

Originally intended to premiere in this year’s Emmy season, Catherine the Great will now premiere in the 2020 Emmy season. Starring the great Helen Mirren, the 4-part limited series looks as sumptuous and fascinating as you would expect. Look for Mirren to factor heavily in next year’s race.
