LAFCA and Globes Prediction Contest Winners!

We had two contests running over the weekend, and it’s time to reveal the winners!

First, the LAFCA: we actually had a record 5207 entries, which is the most we’ve ever seen in any contest at AD. A very large number of those were from RRR fans, who were out in force on Twitter showing their love for the film. We’ve been doing this a long time, and needless to say jaded we may be after a lifetime online, it’s still awe-inspiring to see that type of campaign manifest organically in real time. For their part, LAFCA showed RRR significant love, awarding it Best Music Score and a runner-up mention in Best Director.

Anyway, the three co-winners for the LAFCA contest are:

Now, for the Globe nominations contest: of the 529 entries, Danny Giovannoli impressively rose above the rest of the pack to claim sole possession of the top spot this year. Please email us to claim your prize, Danny!
