The good news is, the Glenn Close series has been renewed for two more seasons. ¬†The bad news is, it will only be on Direct-TV, a satellite service that one must sign up for. ¬†This might turn out to be a good incentive for people to switch to satellite, but it is also a drag for people who don’t want to switch, or who can’t switch for whatever reason.
That means, the only way to see it will be to either rent the DVDs or illegally download it via torrents, not that I’m suggesting you do that.
Why FX decided to not run the show on regular cable is, well, one of the many drags of the modern age.  But at least the show will continue.  What I wonder is, how popular will this be for Direct-TV?  If the show continues to get Emmy nods, perhaps their audience will grow.  Lord knows it worked for HBO.
