Robert Downey Jr. is a hot-shot, big-city lawyer Hank Palmer, who suddenly finds out that his estranged father and honorable Judge (Robert Duvall) is being charged with murder in the town where he presides. Now Palmer must investigate the small town he grew up in and try to bond with old friends and colleagues in order to find the truth that can prove his father’s innocence.
“The Judge” is directed by comedy vet, David Dobkin (Wedding Crashers, Fred Claus, The Change-Up). With Vera Farmiga, Melissa Leo, Billy Bob Thornton, Vincent D’Onofrio, Jeremy Strong, and Balthazar Getty. In theaters on October 10th. Trailer after the cut.

Well, there’s a lot of talent involved but after seeing this trailer I need more convincing.
It’s got a great cast and an interesting premise for a movie.
I’m definitely going to see it.
This looks like a tearjerker and Robert Downey is back to doing dramas.
This looks awful.
I was really excited about The Judge, until I saw this trailer.
