The Reznor/Ross score from Gone Girl is haunting, playful, and kind of creepy. Have a listen.

Sasha Stone has been around the Oscar scene since 1999. Almost everything on this website is her fault.
They’re the most interesting musical duo working in mainstream American cinema today. Hey look, I just used a superlative. It’s a breakthrough.
‘Lovely’ is probably not the most apt description of this music….;)
Nothing extraordinary here that catches my attention… I’ve heard better music.
These tracks are so promising I really hope that we are in for a treat when the picture hits the theatres. The variations between each track are really something. After the critical raves, the wonderful pics (specially the heads up cap down) and these modern eclectic REZNOR-SHARP melodies, I must confess that my expectations are growing exponentially. Are we finally going to see the Academy bow down to David Fincher? Hummmm…As long as this year doesn´t turn out like Social Network vs Kings Speech Year. It would really suck if Foxcatcher, Boyhood, Gone Girl and Inherent Vice lost out to the Imitation Game…
Trent’s scores are so top of the line that it almost feels unfair to compare him to the rest.
Aside from “The Way He Looks at Me”……..I get the drift a lot of this comes from early on in the film……this is REALLY promising at this point….still waiting, though…..for more if I can get it……if not the film itself….
Simply marvellous.
