This week’s Entertainment Weekly gives a sneak peek into the look and feel of Ryan Murphy’s upcoming Fall horror/comedy entry Scream Queens, and it’s exactly what we thought it would be. Feeling like the Scream 2 cousin we never knew existed, Queens takes place on a college campus where Jamie Lee Curtis is the dean and Emma Roberts plays a character literally named Chanel, president of the local sorority who wears vintage Chanel as one does.
Billed by Murphy as “Friday the 13th meets Heathers” complete with its own “20 years ago this horrible event happened” mythology, Queens is marketed at the audience who loves thrills but can’t stand the gore of American Horror Story. That said, it’s also giving us this image of Lea Michele as a sorority pledge who suffers from scoliosis and wears a neck brace. We are taking wagers on how long this look lasts.
Scream Queens is set to premiere on FOX this Fall. No official premiere date has been set, but the show has recently released the following teasers to further introduce us to the show.
